Prep Time: 10 minutes

Cook Time: 20 minutes

Serves: 10

1 lb ground beef

¼ teaspoon garlic salt

¼ teaspoon chili powder

¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper

Salt and pepper to taste

1 teaspoon cumin

1 can tomato sauce

¼ cup shredded mexican cheese

⅓ cup shredded lettuce

1 tomato, diced

½ cup sour cream, for topping

¼ cup onion, diced

1 package Forno De Minas Pao de Queijo Rolls

Cilantro, for garnish

  1. Heat skillet with olive oil over medium/high heat. Toss in the diced onion and let that cook down for a few minutes.

  2. Add the ground beef to the onions and let cook for a couple minutes. Add garlic salt, chili powder, cayenne pepper, salt, pepper, and cumin. Cook the ground beef for 2-3 minutes and then add the tomato sauce and keep mixing. Continue cooking the meat until cooked through and fully browned. Turn heat down to low and then prepare your toppings.

  3. Cook the Pao de Queijo rolls as directed in the oven. When cooked, take out and let cool. Once cooled take a sharp knife and hollow the tops of the rolls out, making little cups.

  4. Line the cups up on a platter and then take a spoonful of the ground beef and place it into each cup, filling all of them.

  5. Finally, take the diced tomato, shredded lettuce and shredded cheese and top the cups. Garnish the tops with a dollop of sour cream and cilantro.

  6. Serve right away while still warm.
